Joshua Marshall
Joshua Marshall, 40, died on January 15, 2020, at a hospital after he became unresponsive during booking at the Monroe County Jail in Georgia. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman said he had been in a physical altercation with jail staff during booking, and said medical aid was started quickly and EMS took him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating, and the Medical Examiner's Office will perform the autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. The sheriff's office has not yet stated a cause, and the manner of death is listed as pending.
