Joshua Ellis
Joshua Ellis, a 33-year-old man from Indianapolis, was found unresponsive in his cell at the Marion County Jail on the afternoon of Saturday, October 6, 2018, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office. Officials pronounced him dead about 20 minutes later. The sheriff's office said the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the Marion County Forensic Services Agency and the coroner's office are investigating, and that it is conducting an internal affairs investigation. No cause of death has been announced.
