Joshua Black was 27 years old when he died on July 4, 2018, at the Jefferson City Correctional Center in Missouri, where he was being held. Corrections officials said he was pronounced dead at about 6 p.m. that Wednesday. An autopsy has been ordered, and officials have not yet said how or why he died.
