Joseph Skrtich
Joseph Skrtich, 50, died on June 17, 2018, while held at State Correctional Institute-Houtzdale in Houtzdale, Pennsylvania. Superintendent Barry Smith said he was found unresponsive in his cell. He was pronounced dead at Mount Nittany Medical Center at 7:28 p.m. State police said they would investigate, and the Clearfield County Coroner's Office will determine the cause of death, which is pending.
