Joseph Paul Franklin
Joseph Paul Franklin, 63, was executed by lethal injection on November 20, 2013, at a prison complex in Bonne Terre, Missouri, after a stay of execution was lifted and the U.S. Supreme Court declined to intervene. Shortly before his execution, he told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that he no longer hated Black or Jewish people. No witnesses were present at the execution, and he made no last words and declined a last meal.
