Joseph Miles
Joseph Miles, 50, died on July 21, 2018, while in the custody of the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction at Central Prison in Raleigh, according to records compiled by UCLA Law Behind Bars. The Union County Sheriff's Office spokesman, Tony Underwood, said Miles had been sent from the Union County jail to a state prison hospital for care about five weeks before he died.
