Joseph Lisath, 59, died on July 5, 2023, at the Clermont County Jail in Batavia, Ohio. The Clermont County Sheriff's Office said correctional staff found him unresponsive in his cell and that he was pronounced dead around 4 p.m. The sheriff's office said he had no visible injuries and that foul play was not suspected. His body was sent to the Hamilton County Coroner's Office for autopsy, and the cause and manner of death remain pending.
