Died in prison
Joseph Eaton
Joseph Eaton, 36, died on October 28, 2025, at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley, Massachusetts, where he was held under an interstate corrections arrangement with Maine. He suffered a medical emergency early that morning and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later. The Massachusetts Department of Correction said preliminary findings indicate no foul play. Massachusetts State Police detectives are investigating the death.
