Joseph Choate
Joseph Choate, 43, died on September 9, 2025, at the Greene County jail in Missouri, where he was being held. According to a Greene County Sheriff's Office news release, a detention officer found him unresponsive in his cell during a security round, and staff gave him medical aid, including CPR, before CoxHealth EMS arrived. He was pronounced dead at 3:21 p.m. The sheriff's office has not announced a cause or manner of death, and the medical examiner's autopsy and the sheriff's investigation were pending.
