Joseph Arquillo
Joseph Arquillo died of an overdose while held at the Cuyahoga County Jail in Ohio. Video from the jail shows him lying still on a mat for about an hour, and a guard checked on him only by kicking the mat before walking away. The Atlantic reported on the footage in August 2019. Staff did not act on his condition in that hour, according to what the video shows.
