Joseph Allen Bauer
Joseph Allen Bauer, 45, of Murfreesboro, was held at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center, where he was found hanging in his cell on November 16, 2017. He was taken to a hospital and died there on November 20. The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office said his death was a suicide. At the time of the report, the sheriff's office's internal investigation had not released results.
Cause of death, as reported: Died by suicide. The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office said Bauer hanged himself in his cell at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.
