Died in jail or a lockup
Josef Valzenjic
Josef Valzenjic was a Hungarian man held in a jail, where he ate little and often left the meals from the sheriff's office untouched. A Catholic priest visited him several weeks before his death and spoke with him in Italian, and for a day or two afterward he ate more. He died on a Saturday morning in December 1886.
