Jose Torres
Jose Torres, 35, died on October 27, 2017, while held at the Milwaukee County Jail in Milwaukee. Officials said a correctional officer called medical staff to him after he appeared to be in distress in the jail's mental health unit. Paramedics were unable to save him. An autopsy was planned to determine the cause of death, and the manner of death was still pending when the report was published.
