Jose Salomon Nunez
Jose Salomon Nunez, 47, was a 10-year veteran of the Bexar County Sheriff's Office. He was held at a detention facility in Karnes County, Texas, southeast of San Antonio, where he died on August 20, 2018. He was found dead in his cell. Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said the manner of death and evidence in the cell led investigators to conclude it was suicide, but he declined to say how Nunez died.
