Jose Loredo
Jose Loredo, 62, was held at the Nacogdoches County Jail in Texas. According to the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office, staff found him on the floor of his cell after a fall on October 3, 2021, and took him to a local hospital, where he remained until he died on November 18, 2021. The sheriff's office said a Texas Ranger is investigating and that a justice of the peace ordered an autopsy, which it described as standard for in-custody deaths. The state's custodial death report lists the death at the Nacogdoches County Jail.
