Jose Jorge Cisneros
Jose Jorge Cisneros, 52, died on May 27, 2025, while held at the Harris County Jail in Texas. According to Houston Public Media, he was taken from the jail to LBJ Hospital on a Sunday with a pre-existing medical condition and was pronounced dead two days later. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences had not released a cause of death as of late May, and the Texas Rangers are investigating under state law. The sheriff's office internal affairs division is reviewing whether policies were followed.
