Jose Flores
Jose Flores, 61, was treated at a hospital for gunshot wounds from a December 2022 shooting at a Tucson sports bar and was discharged in January 2023, after which he was held at the Pima County jail. On Monday night, January 23, 2023, a corrections officer found him unresponsive in his cell, and medics could not revive him. Tucson police said the cause of death is unknown and that detectives found no signs of trauma or suspicious circumstances. The investigation was still open when the report was published in June 2023.
