Died in prison
Jose Cabrera-Lomeli
Jose Cabrera-Lomeli, 52, died in February 2024 while in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services at the Reception and Treatment Center in Lincoln. The department said he had been receiving treatment for a medical condition. The cause of death had not been announced at the time of reporting. Under Nebraska law, a grand jury will investigate the death.
