Jose Aguilar
Jose Francisco Aguilar, 26, was a Dallas Cowboys fan, and his sister Jacqueline Aguilar said the family thinks of him every day. He was held at the Ferguson Unit, a Texas state prison in southeast Texas, where he had spent nearly nine months in solitary confinement. Texas Department of Criminal Justice records list his death on February 17, 2014 as a suicide by hanging. His mother and sisters dispute that it was a suicide, and they said the family did not know he was under mental distress.
