Jordan Thompson
Jordan Thompson was a 26-year-old woman from Enid. Her sister, Brittany Baine, said the family is doing everything it can so no one else has to feel what they are feeling. Jordan was held at the Garfield County Jail, and detention officers found her unresponsive in her cell about 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2013, according to the sheriff's office. Sheriff Jerry Niles said the cell was in plain sight of jail staff and checked hourly, and that surveillance video is being examined, while her family is seeking legal counsel and says it does not accept the county's account. The medical examiner has not yet determined the cause or manner of death, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating, and the toxicology report is pending.
