Jonathon D. Lewis
Jonathon D. Lewis, 33, a Spokane resident, died on June 5, 2021, at the Kootenai County Jail in Idaho, where he was held. According to the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office, he was found dead in his cell that Saturday afternoon after another person held there alerted staff, and he was pronounced dead at 1:32 p.m. after medical staff and first responders tried to save him. The sheriff's office said the death was a suicide.
