Jonathan Vann
Jonathan Vann, 25, was held at Macon State Prison in Georgia when he died on November 20, 2024. The Georgia Department of Corrections said he died after an altercation with another person held at the prison. The department said its Office of Professional Standards is investigating the death. His body was turned over to the county coroner and sent to the GBI Crime Lab, which will work to determine the official cause of death.
