Died in prison
Jonathan Namauleg
Jonathan Namauleg, 21, of Maui, died on August 6, 2015, at Saguaro Correctional Center, a private prison in Eloy, Arizona, where he was held by the Hawaii Department of Public Safety. He was found unconscious on the floor of his cell. The Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide, saying he was strangled. Hawaii investigators and the Eloy Police Department have been investigating the death.
