Jonathan Maxwell, 32, died on January 30, 2016, at the Rutherford County Jail in Tennessee while he was going through booking. According to a preliminary investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, he hanged himself with a pay phone cord in a holding cell shortly after he was brought in.
