Jonathan Eric McGee
Jonathan McGee, 43, died while held in custody in Floyd County, Georgia. Coosa Valley News reports that he was found unresponsive in his cell at the Floyd County Prison and was suspected of overdosing on an unspecified drug on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. According to the same report, he was declared brain dead and pronounced dead the next day, Wednesday, July 24. The Georgia Department of Corrections lists his death at Floyd County Correctional Institution on July 23, 2024, and its record gives no cause or manner of death.
