Jonathan DeJesus Hurtado
Jonathan DeJesus Hurtado, 24, died on December 12, 2023, while held at the Shasta County Jail in Redding, California. The Shasta County Sheriff's Office said he was suspected of dying from a fentanyl overdose, and officials said three other people suspected of overdosing at the jail that week were treated with Narcan.
