Jonathan Charles Harris
Jonathan Charles Harris, 41, of Alexandria, died on October 31, 2026, while held at the Rapides Parish Detention Center. Staff found him unconscious and not breathing in his dorm, and he was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:34 p.m. The Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office attributes his death to a medical emergency and says no foul play is suspected. The cause and manner of death remain pending autopsy and toxicology results.
