Jonas Mooneyham
Jonas Mooneyham, 45, was found not breathing at the Marion County Adult Detention Center in Indianapolis early on Monday, January 17, 2022, shortly after the new jail began holding people. He was pronounced dead at 7:07 a.m. The Marion County Sheriff's Office said preliminary information suggests he died by suicide and that he showed no suicidal ideation at or after booking. IMPD, the Forensic Services Agency, the sheriff's internal affairs unit and the coroner are investigating.
