Jon Watson
Jon Watson, 43, was found unresponsive in his cell at the Cumberland County Jail on June 3, 2016, shortly after returning from court, and was pronounced dead about half an hour later. Officials treated the death as an apparent suicide by hanging, but his family disputes that conclusion and hired an attorney to run an independent investigation. The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office is also investigating. His son, who shares his name, said he knew his father as someone who enjoyed life and his children.
