Johnny Victor
Johnny Victor, 66, was held at Kern Valley State Prison in Delano, California, when he died on August 9, 2024. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said two other people held at the prison attacked him and that staff stopped the attack and called for medical help. He was taken to the prison's triage and treatment area, where paramedics pronounced him dead. CDCR is investigating the death as a homicide, and the Kern County Coroner will determine the official cause of death.
