Johnny Tinker
Johnny Tinker, 59, was found dead in his cell at the Oregon State Penitentiary in Salem on the morning of Monday, June 6, 2016, according to the Oregon Department of Corrections. The department said staff found him at about 7:35 a.m., and that medical staff determined he was dead. The department said no other details were available, and that the Oregon State Police Criminal Investigation Unit is investigating, as it does with all unanticipated deaths in state prisons.
