Died in jail or a lockup
Johnny Lopez
Johnny Lopez, 41, was held in a lockup at the 16th District police station in Jefferson Park on Chicago's Northwest Side on June 2, 2015. Police said he was found unresponsive in the lockup area around 8 p.m., and he was pronounced dead at the station at 8:20 p.m. The Cook County medical examiner's office performed an autopsy that was inconclusive, with no cause or manner of death determined pending toxicology results. Area North detectives are investigating the death.
