Johnathon Goforth
Johnathon Goforth died on June 14, 2025, at a private hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, where he had been taken three days earlier from the Kentucky prison that held him, for treatment of an illness. WKYT reported that the cause of death was sepsis caused by invasive squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue, and the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy confirmed the death. His attorney, David Barron, said Goforth had complained of serious medical symptoms that should have been addressed sooner and treated more quickly. Barron said Goforth fell ill and died at the hospital.
