John Tamil
John Tamil, a young man, was being held in the Perham jail in Perham, Minnesota. On the night of June 5, 1882, about twenty men took him from the jail and hanged him from the top rung of a ladder raised against a telegraph pole. The Panola Weekly Star reported the killing on June 17, 1882.
