John Savage
John Savage was the son of Thomas Savage. The Farmers' Union reported on January 7, 1892, that he was held by a sheriff's posse, which had offered to guard him, when a mob seized him in Choctaw County, Alabama. According to the report, the mob took him from the posse and lynched him. The death took place while he was in the custody of the posse.
