John Maio
John Maio, 60, was held at the St. Louis County Jail in St. Louis County, Minnesota. Sheriff Gordon Ramsay said he hanged himself in his cell and was found unresponsive there on March 10, 2023. He was declared dead on March 16. Ramsay said Maio had denied any feelings of self-harm and had been eating and sleeping normally before his death.
