John Longnecker
John Longnecker, 80, retired from the University of Northern Iowa in 2000 after 33 years there and later moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas. He died on October 15, 2019, at an Arkansas state prison, according to the Arkansas Department of Corrections. The department said he died of lung cancer. The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier and KCRG reported his death.
