John Koskovich
John Koskovich, 31, of Mindoro, was held at the La Crosse County Jail in Wisconsin when he died in August 2022 at a hospital in La Crosse. The La Crosse County Sheriff's Office said he attempted suicide in his cell and died at the hospital from self-inflicted injuries. The sheriff's office said it would open an internal investigation. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections were said to be conducting an independent review.
