John J. Tripp, 49, was held in the Saline County Jail. The Saline County Sheriff's Office said deputies found him hanging from the top bunk in his cell on November 22, 2017. Deputies took him to Salina Regional Health Center. He died there on November 29, 2017, after staff turned off life support.
