John Ilodaz
John Ilodaz was in the custody of a deputy sheriff who was driving him toward Bartow on the night of April 27, 1930, when eight men took him from the officer. His body was found the next day hanging from a tree limb about six miles from Plant City. The Imperial Valley Press reported that it appeared he had been hanged and then shot.
