John Howard Lambert
John Howard Lambert, of Drexel, was held at the Burke County Jail, according to the Burke County Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's Office said he was found unresponsive during a routine check on December 26, 2021, and paramedics pronounced him dead. The Sheriff's Office asked the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation to investigate the death. The cause and manner of death have not been announced.
