John Garey
John Garey, 47, was held at the Pinellas County Jail in Florida when he was taken to a local hospital on the morning of November 1, 2024, because of what the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office described as ongoing medical issues. He died at the hospital shortly after midnight. The sheriff's office says detectives have found no evidence that he was in a physical altercation or was hurt at the jail, and the cause and manner of death remain pending while the investigation is open.
