John Donohue
John Donohue was hanged at Mauch Chunk, Pennsylvania, on June 21, 1877, under a sentence of the state. A July 1877 report in the Batesville Guard counted his execution among eleven carried out in Pennsylvania that day. He was held in state custody until the sentence was carried out.
