According to the Somerset County coroner, John DeSisti, a 76-year-old woman, died early on Monday, January 27, 2014, at a state prison in the Laurel Highlands where she was held. Earlier competency hearings described her as having dementia and incontinence, and said she did not respond verbally to caregivers, attorneys or family.
