John Davison

died December 11, 1885

John Davison was a tailor who had come from the east a few weeks before his death and was boarding at a house in Creston. After he fell down stairs there, he was taken to the county jail and then moved to the home of William Brix, where he died a few hours later. The Omaha Daily Bee reported that his illness had caused delirium and that his death was thought to have come from a burst blood vessel, a cause the paper gave without naming an official source.

Cause of death, as reported: Died of illness. An unattributed newspaper account says it is thought he died of a burst blood vessel after a fall and delirium.

Reported by: Unattributed newspaper account (reporters).
