John Collard
John Collard, 56, was held at the California Correctional Center in Susanville, where he was found dead in his cell on Sunday, September 7, 2014. He was alone in a maximum-security cell when he was pronounced dead. Department of Corrections spokeswoman Yvonne Hackler said the cause of death was pending review and that foul play was not suspected. His family was notified shortly after his body was found.
