Joe Gephart
Joe Gephart was held in the jail at Kennett, Missouri, and on November 18, 1889, a mob took him from the jail and lynched him, according to a brief newspaper item published November 28, 1889. A November 26 paper from the same year reported a lynching from the Kennett jail, and it is the same death.
