Joaquin Jones, 29, died on August 30, 2021, while held at the Mobile Metro Jail in Mobile, Alabama. The Mobile County Sheriff's Office said he was found not breathing in his cell at about 6:15 p.m. after a fight with another person held there that began over a dice game from a Monopoly set. The sheriff's office said video supported witness accounts.
