Joanny Tyson, 48, died at the Colquitt County Jail in Moultrie, Georgia, on June 6, 2024. The coroner told WALB that no foul play is suspected, and autopsy and toxicology results were still pending, while the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the sheriff's office and the coroner's office are investigating the death. Tyson's sister set up a GoFundMe to cover funeral costs.
