JoAnn Lemmons

Jo Ann Lemmons, also spelled JoAnn, died on June 27, 2023, while held at the Tarrant County Jail in Texas. The Tarrant County Sheriff's Office said she had a medical emergency during a cell check in the early hours of that day, and that life-saving measures were taken before she was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The sheriff's office said the cause and manner of her death are pending an autopsy.
